Editing 1

 Hi blog! Welcome back. This week we've started editing our film opening, 'Betrayed Shadows´. Brooklynne, Sam, and I are working on it, and we'll continue editing over the next few weeks. We'll then share our first as well as our final draft for peer feedback. Here's a glimpse into our progress so far...

We encountered initial challenges in our editing process, primarily with team coordination, communication, and adhering to deadlines. We also spent time looking at different editing software, ultimately deciding to stick with our original choice, CapCut, since it was familiar and easy to use.

Despite these early hurdles, we've solidified our title, 'Betrayed Shadows,' and selected the Copperplate font for its dramatic yet elegant feel. Our editing focuses on basic cuts to maintain a natural aesthetic, though we're considering fade transitions. We'll enhance audio with voice-overs and sound effects. We have also considered adding some foley sounds over top of the video in specific parts to leave more of an effect on the audience and match our initial vision.

After a good hour and a half of editing, we've made significant progress but we still feel as though well be needing another two hours for voice-over recordings, foley sounds, transitions, and adding any last clips. We are also still debating on whether we should add another scene from our initial idea in order to fill up some more time.
